A quickie

Gomen nasai bishes of my life! XD I really REALLY need to update more often. I thought if I start paying yearly for LJ I would be more influenced to write more. :/

I have about fifteen minutes before I need to get ready for work. I decided to whip out some words for my livejournal and disappear for a few weeks. I have no idea where I left off on my adventures living in Japan nor do I know what's new with my friends. Talked to Alice a couple of weeks ago caught up with her. Rosie called me couple of weeks ago but at the wrong time of the day. My ass was sleeping in bed and thought the phone ringing was part of my dream. >_<. Umm... Umm...My english is slowly starting to downgrade to elementry level. I work on base with english speakers but majority of the workers are either Japanese or Flips. So their english is either pretty well off or I have to ask them to repeat. Since I work for Loss Prevention (ID Checker) and calling one of the other ID checkers to let them know someone is coming over to their side, please don't let them inside the store. I get this.....

"What...who is coming...what does he look like?"

By the time I get done explaining the person already passed them. -_- Some co-workers are leaving due to hating their job or PCSing (leaving Japan). There are a lot of spots open waiting to be filled. At the last moment I decided to become a security guard. LMAO Me? Looking at cameras, stop theft and write reports?! I wanted to test it out not BECOME one. So I'm stuck with my new job which start this coming sunday. -_- Wish me luck. The last stealer put up a great fight which ended with my boss pants' ripped. O_o;;;

Best thing about taking the train...

You had a tough day in the office. Decided to hit the pub down a few beers. It's getting late and no one around to take you home. You're wasted. Mumbling, laughing, arguing to yourself. Barely keeping yourself together. Your free body slams agaisnt a few people. They give you dirty looks then go back to whatever they're doing. No one helps you. You stumble off to the abyss. Gawd help you.....

The other night I took the train home from work. I'm zoned out from my twenty minute walk to the station and sat next to a man. A drunk Japanese business man whom I had no idea was drunk. Until he got up walking like a zombie towards the exit. Which happens to be on my side, lucky me. -_- He hold onto the upper seat handle to steady himself. He swung towards me. My gawd I couldn't stop laughing. THIS MAN JUST FELL ON ME. AND EVERYONE STARED. LMAO I pushed him off of me and he stumble backwards towards the people across from me. Of course this wasn't my first time dealing with drunks. >_^ Want another story kids? I shall tell...

On the streets of Yokosuka, Japan. Walking to the train station after work one late night. An middle age man (Bum) popped out from around a corner street. He was holding a drink in his hand and singing. I walked passed him as fast as I could. He saw me and kept saying, "Excuzeee me mizzzz....Excuzeeee mizzz." I turned around and saw him following me! There were other people on the street and they caught his attention. He stopped and started bowing to them and lifted his drink up to do a toasting effect. Have no fear....Japan is super safe to walk at night compared to the states. Now Japan does have crime but not as bad.

I was suppose to have tomorrow off (My only day off) but I volunteer to cover someone.*sigh* I just got full-time and I don't want to ruin my rep. *_* This week is hell week.

Wii Fit snowboarding

Now.....I wouldn't of never thought about playing snowboarding in my underwear. Genius! Let me have my chunky tummy jiggle all over the place. YES! Total blindness on others! I don't even own a Wii Fit nor Wii. After watching this clip I feel like running/walking to the gym and work out for an hour. Must.....get a flat stomach and..... tight ASS.

I'm gonna be a SAMURAI and not for Halloween

Yes, yes, OH YES! November 16, 2008 the city I live in is having a festival with a parade, food, and a live Samurai archery demostration on the beach. These men will be riding on a horse shooting arrows towards a target. Japanese-American society asked for four volunteers to participate in the parade as Samurais. Myself and a couple of my friends raised our hands to volunteer. We get to wear the traditional female uniform down to the shoes with helmet and carry around a huge sword.*squeals* XD In fact they clearly stated it's not going to be a small sword but a LONG BIG sword. Which is fine with me, I like it long and big......Heh Heh. Just like YO' Daddy's.

Yesturday Mary, Hiromi and I went to a Japanese-American food exchange. We arrived 45 minutes late. Mainly my fault because I woke up 20 mintues before 10am which we had to be there by. Go ME! When we arrived everyone was in the kitchen preparing the meals. We had to take off our shoes into another pair of plastic sandals in order to enter the kitchen. I didn't expect an actual cooking class. There are three sliver tables with built-in stoves and sinks. Stove on one end and the sink on the opposite side. Mary, Hiromi and I were split up between the tables. Some women spoke a few words in English so the language barrier wasn't too bad. Untill it came to the part of telling me what do with raw meat in my hand with no more egg yoke in the bowl. O_o Next thing I knew she came back to our table with a bottle of mayonnaise. Ladies and Gentlemen if you're frying meat with egg and flour. And run out of egg, why not use Mayonnaise? Weird, just plain werid. After we got done cooking it was time to eat! Japanease people sure do a lot of dishes. Each food item had its own plate/bowl. We had rice, fried pork, crab soup, green tea, tuna salad (Mary made),banana bread, and seaweed salad. Everything had its own plate/bowl! There were about 20 people in the room which makes 8 plates/bowls per person. 8x20= 160 dishes we had to wash not including cooking utensils after we got done eating. -_- Of course I didn't wash I just dried for a bit and did the putting away. :p

It's a BIG one! Are you ready?

I actually have time to sit down and write in my LiveJournal. I've been writing back and forth with Isis giving updates of my life to her. Then I thought, SHIT! Why don't I just write in my Livejournal so I don't have to repeat my stories 800 times to friends and family. Brilliant, Cat just plain brilliant. Then again wasn't I suppose to write in my LJ of my adventures in Japan in the first place? O_o; I normally don't post so much information. I need to get this out of the way so I can start on my 'Trip to Hachimangu Shrine'. Sorry in advance once you start reading. Gomen nasai *Bows*

New Layout and New Hobbies

I found the perfect layout featuring Ayumi Hamasaki (all time favorite Japanese singer). Along with a new icon for my blogging madness. It only took one week to find it. ^_^ Naw, in truth I've been ignoring my livejournal due to activities in Japan. Yup, Cat getting involved in her community. Not TOO involved where I pick fights with local Navy mothers and their children. I tend to stay in the shadows so no one knows my name. I don't like military drama. -_- In other words, BITCHES NEED TO BACK OFF MY KOOL-AID!

Sims2 company is releasing Sims3 2009 (screams). Yes! Aren't you as excited as I am?! Haha. I've picked up my old time hobby again this week and making sweet stories and I'm thrilled about the upcoming Sims3 game. So, kuddos to that non-geek friends of mine. Besides playing on the computer most of the day. I've been working out at the gym, playing tennis and softball. My GAWD I'm becoming a JOCK. Cat? The fat ass Sim2 playing, reading manga anime whore....playing sports?! Yea, who knew? Today was the first softball practice. I suck....no I mean I REALLY do SUCK at this sport. I got hit hard on the jaw and chest and was ready to call it a night. -_- The girls on the team are super nice to all the newbies and gave me pointers on how to play during the game but I was still lost. They would yell "GO TWO!" or "CUT". I'm like go wha... and who be cuttin? O_o;;; Next sport KENDO (martial arts)! I would love to wave a wooden stick (katana) around. XD I'm up for anything until I come home bleeding. Then I'm gonna have to say, "Fuck this shit".

Updating layout

I'm sleepy and ready for bed. Too late in the night to change it. For now, the classic look. Blahhhh...ugliness in my face.

Thinking about

I'm thinking about getting my hair highlighted next week or so.
I'm thinking about getting a curling iron since my hair is naturally straight.
I'm thinking about having kids when Phillip comes home or hot drunk sex.
I'm thinking about My neighbor Totoro because I'm surrounded by tall trees.
I'm thinking about who the next President of the United States will be.
I'm thinking about taking Kendo, I want to learn the Samurai way.
I'm thinking about what to eat for lunch tomorrow.
I'm thinking about how my body is going to ache from the gym tomorrow.
I'm thinking about how I'm going to post my hiking trip photos on LiveJournal.
I'm thinking about how lazy I am to write a full paragraph about what I'm thinking about.

The end....pure laziness. XD

Visual Kei band Lareine Disband?!

Wha...wha....WHAT?! This is VERY old news about four years old news. -_- In fact I have no idea how old this picture is. I didn't like some of their music but they sure were eye candy. XD The band formed in 1994 and I thought they would last. ^_^;; I download their Princess mini album CD on itunes. I've been looking for one particular song since high school, finally found it two nights ago on itunes. Since that mini album was no longer being produced it was hard to find/download the song I wanted. Kamijo, the lead singer from Lareine is in a new band called Versailles. Formed March 2007 by Kamijo himself. Well, at least I'm up to date with that! Picture below ..........For those who don't know. They're all men.

China Town photos

Sorry for the delay. Three weeks has passed and during that time I've moved in my apartment, and three days later my furniture was delivered to me. Didn't take long to arrange my furniture around because I only brought my bed, book shelf, computer desk and two table lamps including the lamps. Everything else was placed in storage.  Did I mention I live in a THREE-bedroom apartment?? -_-;;; Yea, unless I have 4 kids running around this place is perfect. Besides the extra space the apartment itself is awesome. One of the bedrooms has a clear view of the forest on top of a hill. In fact I went on a trail hike through the forest with a friend and her seven year old son today . That's an adventure for another Livejournal post. HAHA!

Culture Shock in DA FACE

I'm still staying at the hotel due to my four day AOB class (Area Orientation Brief) An introduction to Japan for new comers. They explain what important paperwork needs to get done, culture, history, money, trains, sports, manners and my favorite culture shock. Tomorrow we get to go on a field trip to any distination we like. Mary and I plan on going to Yokohama for shopping purpose. Bwahahaha I heard theres a 5 story building yen  store (dollar store). Also China Town is located there as well. Historic places are nice to visit too and if we have time we might visit the huge ass Buddah located in Kamakura. I love old Japan so I'll definitely visit historic places.

Edit: The five story yen store is located in Tokyo

I'm in Japan

Jun. 5th, 2008

I'm in Florida and it's hot as hell.

I complained about Virginia the whole time I was there. Now that I'm back home, I rather be in Virginia because of it's not freakin so hot summers. Finally my headaches are gone and my nose stopped running due to my step-mom's exotic flowers in the backyard. I've gotten my Mexi tan back from taking out the dogs everyday. After Isis's wedding we're going to the beach sunday and my Mexi tan will be complete. LOL Dude, I can tan with in minutes just walking to the mail box. I blame the 'Sun-Shine State'. Isis Bachlorette party was a success! Food, drinks, gifts, and stripper made it fun. I promised my husband I wouldn't have the stripper dance up on me. So I just ended up taking pictures of my friends going wild over the hot stud. XD Don't worry, I know some the girls will share their photos of the night on myspace or facebook.

I just had to share this PV

Makes me wanna jump around like a fool.

The movers came and went taking my belongings with them. Currently sleeping on an air bed also having to place my laptop on top of a card board box. Huh, what's that I hear from a far distance? Is...is that Pyro yelling at me about using her home for my personal use? Ah yes, the infamous Pyro lives inside of a card board box. How could anyone forget about the 'Palace Of Anime' fanfiction. I like to bring it up every now and then for the fans if we have any at this moment since the site is dead. >_< Anyways, packing was a bitch! Getting only five hours of sleep each night to prepare for the movers and doing errans. I picked up my plane ticket tuesday from the 'ticket office' (Can't remember their name) on base. My trip to Japan is one month away, I'm so excited. XD I am going to miss my doggies though. *sniff* MY BABIES!! Gawd...two years without my dogs. Damn, I miss my dogs already more than I miss my husband and hes' been away for two months so far. LMAO

Since I brought up my hubby. He has visited Brazil, and Chile. Jen Jen Hime's father requested foreign money from all the countries Phillip visits. Don't worry Jen Phillip has your father covered. ^_^

Did you eat out of a bento box for lunch?

In fact, I ate out of a plate and loved it. I totally forgot all about bento boxes in Japan! It's a healthy meal packed tight meaning no gaps between food, and somewhat decorated in a few containers (square or round). Years ago I wanted a bento box so bad but never got around to getting one. I went ahead to J-list and ordered a few utensils to help me make crab shaped hotdogs, bento cups, and a rice ball maker. ^_^ Since my twin sisters birthday is in June I went ahead and order two yellow bento boxes for them.

I know what ya'll are thinking, "Your going to Japan, why are you ordering stuff online?!" Well......I didn't order MYSELF a bento box but I did order a blue panda lunch tote. Also once I'm settle in Japan I'm planning to go to the yen store to buy a few bento boxes. lmao I heard they have all kinds of stuff at the yen store. *_* Oh, check out this awesome website about how to pack a bento box to finding the right box size. I was spying....on my neighbors. XDDDDDDD

I woke up at 5pm today, fucking 5pm in the afternoon! I haven't woke that late since my unemployment days. I was soooo mad at myself for waking up late since I had a shit load of errans to do. Right away I grabbed my cellphone and called Alice to tell her how late I woke up (lame...I know It's like me calling her after I took a dump to tell her how big it was) and took the dogs out for a walk. I'm strolling with the dogs behind the complex, walking, walking, talking, talking. All of a sudden one of the building doors swung open and two teenagers walked out, a boy and girl both seem the age of 15-16. I'm still talking to Alice as I turned the corner and decided to ....spy on them. Heh Heh

I grabbed Dumpling and yelled at Tokyo to hurry up and take his shit so I can go play spy. Come on! Two young teens alone behind a building, what fun it can be to see what they're going to do. (devilish smile) Keep in mind I still have Alice on the phone laughing her ass off. So, I walked agaisnt the wall and peeked my head around the corner just to see two teens playing kissy face with each other. Awwwww so cute, I was tempted to walk in through the opposite side of the building to reach the back door and kick the door open where they're sitting and yell, WHAT'S UP MUTHA FUKAS!!!!!!!!!? I really don't know what would scare them, my uncombed hair , bad breath and food stained Pj's or the fact I'm holding a dog yelling like a mad woman. O_o;;;

OMFG.... I'm so scared and stressed to go to Japan. I cancelled the cable, electricity, apt rent, and renter insurance. All I have to do is stop my allotment (pays the apt bill automatically)and internet also letting my boss know I'm leaving in May (For Florida) and not September due to the fact I'm not taking my dogs to Japan. ^_^;; I can't take the risk of Japan not accepting military vet papers and having my dogs do 180 days of quarantine that can cost up to 5,000 dollars. Isis and her husband agreed to take care of my babies for two years. Don't worry I'm planning to pay them monthly for the trouble and food of two dogs. So, YATTA to that. Rosie was right, I'm a little stressed and worried about my trip. I found out Hiromi is not going to Japan untill July and I'm the first to go before my husband and Hiromi. Gwad! I really don't know what to do or I'm just paranoid for nothing. :/ Mainly because I've never been to an airport by myself. Scary shit there.....
